2014 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Elisabeth Junek Edition will come to Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show will open its doors next week and a recent report is indicating that Bugatti will unveil a new Legend special edition. Named Elisabeth Junek, the model will pay tribute to Junek, a prominent female racer in early 1920s. She came close to winning the 1928 Targa Florio but a defective brake caused her to lose the lead and come in fifth.

Just like the standard model, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Elisabeth Junek Edition will be powered by the 8.0 liter W16 engine which is able to deliver 1,200 horsepower and 1,500 Nm peak of torque.

The engine will be matted to a seven speed dual-clutch transmission which will enable the Molsheim-based supercar to sprint from zero to 62 mph in 2.6 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 253 mph with the roof down.
