Video: BMW i3 – Start of the production

    A couple of weeks ago, BMW has announced us that its new i3 model has entered in the production line. As a reminder, the BMW i3 is the world’s first premium electric vehicle which is using carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic.

    The first product of the “i” sub-brand will be produced at BMW factory in Leipzig. The body structure of the BMW i3 consists entirely of this extremely lightweight and durable material, allowing the extra weight of the batteries for the electric drive system to be cancelled out.

    Today, the German car manufacturer has unveiled a new video of the BMW i3 production line.
