An American team is bidding to enter Formula 1 in 2015. According to Bernie Ecclestone, the F1 board is in talks with two parties interested in the FIA’s invitation to fill the final spot in pit lane. We are talking about an American team and a Romanian one.

The first one is owned by Gene Hass, a NASCAR team manager.

“We have responded to the FIA’s ‘call for expression of interest’ and will share more details in the coming weeks”, said Gene Hass in an official interview.

Haas co-owns the Stewart-Haas team, and reports said he has an estimated net worth of $740 million. According to rumors, his team would be based in Charlotte.
