Callaway Corvette Stingray SC610 – Official details

/ by:

Callaway has revealed the all-new Corvette Stingray SC610. The model is based on the 2013 Corvette Stingray and it features a good looking exterior package and a more powerful engine. On the outside we see a carbon hood extractor, Callaway branded door sill plates and a modified dash plaque.

As you already know, under the hood of the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a 6.2 liter V8 engine. This time, the unit was equipped with an Eaton twin-vortex supercharger, an intercooler, a high-flow intake and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. As a result, the engine can deliver 610 horsepower and 752 Nm peak of torque, which is less than the output of the previous ZR1 or the new Z06.

Under these conditions, the sprint from zero to 62 mph is done in 3.4 seconds when the car is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, while the quarter mile is done in 11 seconds at 125 miles per hour.
