BMW and Mercedes-Benz are skipping 2016 Super Bowl 50
According to a recent report, BMW will not air a commercial during the 2016 Super Bowl 50. Last year, the German car manufacturer has released an ad for the i3 featuring Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel.
Even though the commercial managed to get positive reactions on social media and reach millions of prospective customers in only a few weeks, the Germans have decided to skip the 2016 Super Bowl 50.
Last month we also find out that Mercedes-Benz won’t come to the 2016 Super Bowl. We don’t know for sure what the reason for this decision was but we believe it has to do with the $10-million price for a 60-second spot.
But Mercedes-Benz and BMW aren’t the only car manufacturers that will skip the 2016 Super Bowl. Lincoln will not air any commercials during the Big Game.
