2018 Audi RS3 Sedan is coming to North America
Our colleagues from Quattro World have managed to find out Audi is developing an Audi RS3 Sedan which will be out for the 2018 model year in North America. It was a year ago when we heard a rumor about the possibility of seeing an RS3 Sedan in the US and now it seems it will really happen.
But this news doesn’t really come as a big surprise judging by the fact that the German car manufacturer has revealed the A3 clubsport quattro almost two years ago and that concept was a clear indication of a potential RS3 Sedan.
As you may have read, the concept had 525 horsepower but the Audi RS3 Sedan is expected to deliver more than 400 horsepower from the 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine. The unit will send the power via a quattro all-wheel drive system with some help from the seven-speed S tronic transmission.
On the outside we will see a more aggressive body kit mounted on the new A3 Sedan facelift while inside the cabin we will meet the mighty and fancy Audi Virtual Cockpit. The upcoming Audi RS3 Sedan will come with new spoilers, wheels and probably headlights.
According to the same source, the 2018 Audi RS3 Sedan US Spec is slated to arrive towards the end of next year and will likely kick off at around $55,000 – $60,000.
