Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC ahead of the international debut scheduled for the 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

Essentially, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC is just a revised version of the SLK with a new named.

2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC – Design

On the exterior, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC comes with a revised front fascia, a modified grille, new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and a sportier rear bumper. More than that you will see new LED taillights, a revised dual exhaust system and an improved retractable hardtop that can be operated at speeds up to 25 mph.

2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC – Interior

Inside the cabin of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC you will find a sportier steering wheel, a bigger display for the instrument cluster, aluminum trim and some carbon fiber-inspired accessories. The center console is now featuring the new COMAND infotainment system that comes with a seven inch display.

2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC – Engine line-up

In the United States, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC will be available with just two engines. We are talking about the entry-level SLC 300 that has a turbocharged 2.0 liter petrol engine that can deliver 241 horsepower and 369 Nm peak of torque. The unit is matted to a nine speed automatic transmission that enables the model to run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds.

The second unit will be under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG SLC43. We are talking about a V6 3.0 liter bi-turbo engine that can offer 362 horsepower and 520 Nm peak of torque. The acceleration form not to 100 km/h is done in 4.6 seconds, while the top speed is electronically caped at 250 km/h.

More than that, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC will be available with the Dynamic Select system and with the new standard Active Brake Assist.
