Mazda has officially unveiled the 2017 Mazda CX-9 at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. Described as one of the most attractive crossovers on the market, the 2017 Mazda CX-9 has a stylish Kodo – Soul of Motion design with a large and prominent front fascia flanked by sleek LED headlights.
The roof is swept back and the surfaces are flowing. The 2017 Mazda CX-9 features rounded fenders, a dynamic beltline, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust system, and 18- or 20-inch alloy wheels.
According to the Japanese car manufacturer, the 2017 Mazda CX-9 is slightly shorter than its predecessor but it features a stretched wheelbase. As a result, the 2+3+2 interior offers more legroom for the passengers.

The 2017 Mazda CX-9 has higher-quality materials and lots of aluminum accessories on the dashboard. We also see redesigned front seats, LED interior lighting and a seven of an eight inch MAZDA CONNECT infotainment system. More than that, the Japanese produces says that the 2017 CX-9 has thicker windows and 53 lbs (24 kg) of sounding deadening mats.
On the option list you can find a 12-speaker Bose audio system, Auburn-colored Nappa leather upholstery, and authentic Japanese rosewood trim sourced from a local guitar manufacturer. If you are a tech guy you should know that the 2017 Mazda CX-9 can be configured with a 4.6 inch TFT display mounted between the instrument cluster gauges.
2017 Mazda CX-9 – Engine
Under the hood of the 2017 Mazda CX-9 is the first Skyactiv turbocharged engine. We are talking about the Skyactiv-G 2.5 T unit that has 250 horsepower and 420 Nm peak of torque. The unit is matted to a six speed automatic transmission and it can be paired to a front or all-wheel drive system.
