Alpina has officially unveiled the 2017 BMW Alpina B7. The new model will be officially showcased during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the event which will kick off on March 3rd.

The new 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 is set to go on sale in the US in September and it is based on the latest generation BMW 7 Series. On the outside of the 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 we see a more aggressive font fascia with an active shutter grille, a modified lip spoiler and new rear spoiler and 20 inch Alpina Classic wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Also on the exterior, customers can chose from two different new colors: Alpina Blue Metallic and Alpina Green Metallic.

Inside the cabin of the 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 are new Nappa leather seats, lots of high-quality leather accessories, a new sport steering wheel and some aluminum accessories.

2017 BMW ALPINA B7 – The engine

Under the hood of the 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 is the same V8 4.4 liter bi-turbo engine found on the 750i versions. But this time the unit can deliver 600 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The engine is matted to a specially-tuned eight speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. As a result, the 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 can run from stand still to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 193 mph.

Speaking of performance, the 2017 BMW ALPINA B7 has been outfitted with an air suspension, Dynamic Damper Control, an Active Roll Stabilization system, and an Integral Active Steering system.
