Mercedes-Benz has released the first picture of the upcoming 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift. According to the German car manufacturer, the model will be showcased during the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the event that will kick off on November 17.
2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift – Exterior and interior
The front part of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift has been modified and now features a massive radiator grille with only one horizontal line, full-LED headlights and a revised bumper. The hood also comes with air intakes while the side vents are bigger. Even though we don’t have an image with rear end of the car, the spy photos have revealed revised taillights and subtitle tweaks to the bumper.
Inside the cabin, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift will come with new upholstery and trim options while the infotainment system has been updated to the latest version. Even though we don’t have official info we are pretty sure that we will see new or updated safety systems.
2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift – Engine line-up
Under the hood, the same report is saying that the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SL facelift will come with slightly revised engines. The creme-de-la-creme will be the V8 5.5 liter unit that can be found on the SL63 versions.
