Mercedes-AMG has officially unveiled the 2016 Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet. This is the most powerful and hardcore version of the latest cabriolet model in the German line-up.
As a reminder, the 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet has officially unveiled during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Under the hood of the 2016 Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet is a V12 6.0 liter bi-turbo engine rated at 612 horsepower and 1.000 Nm peak of torque.

According to the German car manufacturer, the run from not to 100 km/h is done in 4.1 seconds, while the top speed is electronically caped at 250 km/h. With the optional AMG Driver’s Package the top speed will be raised to 300 km/h. The 2016 Mercedes-AMG S65 Cabriolet will be offered only with the AMG SPEEDSHFIT 7G-TRONIC seven speed transmission.

The car sends the power to the ground via an all-wheel drive system and thanks to some astonishing 20 inch forged wheels wrapped in 55/40 ZR 20 front and 285/35 ZR20 rear tires.
2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet – Equipment
Because we are talking about a cabriolet, the Mercedes-AMG has prepared the usual AIRCAP wind protection system and the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system. You can also find on the standard list the heated armrests and an intelligent climate control system.
According to Mercedes-AMG, the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet will be available starting April 4 with deliveries kicking off in time for next summer.
