Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe. The new model will be officially showcased during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the event which will kick off on March 3rd.

The car was designed to compete against the Audi S5 and features a redesigned front fascia with a more aggressive radiator grille and bigger air intakes. We also see black mirror caps, matte iridium silver accents, and a sports exhaust system.

On the rear side of the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe we have a trunk-mounted spoiler, a rear diffuser, and 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe features a flat-bottom steering wheel, new Dinamica microfiber seats and red contrast stitching. There are also red seat belts and a revised instrument cluster.

2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe – Engine and performances

Under the hood of the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe is a V6 3.0 liter biturbo rated at 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. The car is matted to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a rear biased 4Matic all-wheel drive system. As a result, the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe can run form stand still to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h.

On the performance side we have the AMG Ride Control sport suspension and the AMG Dynamic Select system with Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sport Plus, and Individual modes. The steering was also revised while the braking system was improved.
