2015 Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited edition celebrates five decades of the pony car

Ford has unveiled the all-new Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition which celebrates five decades since the original pony car was revealed on the market. According to Ford, only 1,964 units will be made and all of them are based on the 2015MY Mustang GT. Furthermore, the car will be equipped with the Performance Pack.

Buyers of the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will have the possibility to choose a Wimbledon White or a Kona Blue exterior paint. In addition, the car can be ordered with a six-speed manual gearbox or with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The automatic version of the Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will come with a Torsen limited slip differentia with a 3:55:1 final-drive.

The engine of the 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition

Under the hood of the 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will be a V8 5.0 liter naturally aspirated unit rated at 420 horsepower and 528 Nm peak of torque.

Inside the cabin, buyers will find leather covered, cashmere-stitched steering wheel while the seats were wrapped in a unique two-tone cashmere and black leather upholstery. On the seatback there is also a Mustang 50 Year logo.

The 2015 Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition will be revealed at the New York Auto Show and it is scheduled to go on sale this fall.
