Ford unveiled at the 2014 North American International Auto Show the brand-new 2015 F-150 pick-up truck. The all-new F-150 delivers an impressive combination of power, capability and efficiency – from advanced materials that improve durability and inhibit corrosion, to faster processors that enhance driving performance, to breakthrough cargo management and towing solutions.

On the outside, the 2015 Ford F-150 features a preeminent grille with distinctive headlights. We also see a stylish green house, bigger fenders and an integrated spoiler. Inside the cabin, buyers will find higher quality materials and new technologies.

The biggest changes are underneath as the 2015 F-150 has a fully boxed ladder frame with more high-strength steel that makes it “stronger and lighter” than its predecessor. The model also uses a number of aluminum components which enables it to weigh up to 700 lbs (317 kg) less than its predecessor.

Under the hood of the 2015 Ford F-150 buyers will find four different engines. We are talking about a 2.7 liter EcoBoost V6, a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6, a 3.5 liter V6 and a 5.0 liter Ti-VCT V8 engine.

The 2015 F-150 will go on sale later this year and be available in five “primary trims” including XL, XLT, Lariat, Platinum and King Ranch.
