Cadillac unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show the all-new 2015 ATS Coupe. The US-based model is featuring unique bodywork and it was designed to fight against the all-new BMW M4 Coupe.
Inside the cabin, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe is featuring leather upholstery and wood, carbon fiber and aluminum trim. Buyers will also find a Bose audio system which can play recorded engine sounds through the speakers to enhance the driving experience.
In addition, Cadillac designers added a GPS navy, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a CUE infotainment system with an 8 inch display.
Under the hood, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe will feature two different engines. We are talking about a 2.0 liter turbocharged with 272 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque and about a 3.6 liter V6 engine with 321 HP and 373 Nm peak of torque. According to Cadillac, both engines are connected to a six speed automatic gear box but a six speed manual is optional on the 2.0 liter engine.
“The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe is a natural step in the brand’s progression, and another fun-to-drive and technologically advanced product for a new generation of drivers extending our target groups. It is an exclusively distinctive American alternative, unique in its class, yet delivering a sporty and sophisticated driving experience rivaling the world’s best”, said Uwe Ellinghaus, Cadillac’s Chief Marketing Officer.
