Opel will reveal the 2014 Astra OPC Extreme Concept at the 84th Geneva Motor Show. The prototype follows the tradition of the Astra OPC X-Treme Concept showcased in 2002. The upcoming 2014 Opel Astra OPC Extreme Concept is described as a true super sports car which will be produced in a limited-run version.

According to Opel, the hothatch will be the quickest road-legal Astra ever and it will be based on the Astra OPC Cup race model.

On the outside, the German pocket rocket will use a lot of carbon fiber elements and it will be lighter than the regular 1.373 kilograms Astra OPC. The latter one was unveiled in 2012 and features 280 horsepower and 400 Nm peak of torque from a 2.0 liter turbo engine.

According to rumors, the upcoming concept will feature more than 300 horsepower and a more aggressive and sporty body kit.
