Nissan has officially unveiled the new Altima V8 Supercar Championship model. As you may know, the Japanese model will be used in the 2014 V8 Supercar Championship by the Norton Hornets team. Behind the wheel of the Altima will be James Moffat and Michael Causo.
While the livery of the 2014-specification Norton Nissan is similar to how it ended last year’s championship, there are some subtle changes, including a pearl-based yellow paint, plus reflective white vinyl for the circle on Norton’s famous “tick.”
“We had a number of highlights last year, and there were some tough times too, but we have put that behind us and we’re looking forward to the 2014 season,” said James Moffat.
The two Norton Hornets cars will take part in the first event of the season at Clipsal 500 Adelaide, South Australia between February 27 and March 2. The season consists of 14 events and will end with the Sydney 500, Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales (December 5-7).
