The first official pictures and info about the new 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo have gone on the web. As many of you may already know, the Nismo version of the GT-R will be officially unveiled on 19th November.
The Japanese model features an updated twin-turbo V6 3.8 liter unit that delivers 595 horsepower and 650 Nm peak of torque. This power was increased thanks to a revised air intake, a modified exhaust system and new turbochargers.
The 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo features 20 inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/40RF – 20 run-flat Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST tires. Furthermore, the Godzilla can be equipped with a track package. According to Nissan, under these conditions, the car can lap the Nurburgring in 7:08.69 minutes.
The track pack features a series of carbon fiber body parts, a new front splitter and a massive rear wing. Furthermore, the package adds a few chassis tweaks, manually-adjustable Ohlins shocks and new springs.
According to CarAndDriver magazine, the upcoming 2014 Nissan GT-R Nismo equipped with the track pack will cost less than 200,000 USD.
