Mini will reveal the new generation of its beloved hatchback on November 18th. Today, the British car manufacturer has offered a new set of details about the 2014 Cooper.

The most important feature that will be available on the new 2014 Mini Cooper is the head-up display. The system projets all important information onto a small folding screen on the dashboard. The head-up display can show the vehicle speed, navigation instruction, entertainment info and various alerts.

More than that, the 2014 Mini Cooper will come with some new safety features. The security package includes a collision and pedestrian warning system with city braking function. This system uses a widescreen mounted camera to monitor pedestrians and cars in front of the model.

As any other collision warning system, this one determines if there could be a collision and it provides audio and visual warnings to alert the driver. If the man behind the wheel fails to all these warnings, the car will automatically begin braking.

The 2014 Mini Cooper will also feature a digital headlight assist system that can activate and deactivate the high-beams depending on traffic and lighting conditions.

Other important feature is the video based active cruise control system. There are also a traffic sign memory system, a rear view camera and parallel parking assist.
