Jeep revealed the all-new 2014 Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler Altitude editions. The 2014 Cherokee Altitude Edition is featuring a stealth-like appearance with gloss black accents on the grille, front fascia and roof rails. Inside the cabin the special edition is coming with a black theme and with a lot of great accessories.
“The unique ‘blacked-out’ theme of the Jeep Altitude models resonated so well with consumers two years ago that it makes perfect sense to bring them back now, particularly since we have new versions of the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO – Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “What began as a production-intent concept and naming contest generated significant buzz and evolved into a lineup of special-edition Jeep vehicles that appeal to many consumers – especially those wanting a very distinct, aggressive and edgy look.”
The new 2014 Cherokee Altitude Edition will be available in four different colors: Brilliant Black Crystal Metallic Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat, Billet Silver Metallic Clear Coat and Granite Crystal Metallic Clear Coat. Pricing for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Altitude will start at $24,995.
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Editions is having a price tag of $35,290 and is featuring platinum chrome grille inserts, 20 inch aluminum wheels tinted head- and taillight and body color accents. Inside the cabin, buyers will find leather/suede seats, a power sunroof and the new Uconnect infotainment system.
Under the hood, the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Edition will come with a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine which can deliver 290 horsepower and 352 Nm peak of torque. The engine resources are put to the ground via an eight speed automatic gearbox.
The 2014 Jeep Wrangler Altitude Edition is based on the Wrangler Sahara Unlimited version. It has a matte black grille and 18 inch aluminum wheels, while inside the cabin, buyers will get leather seats and black painted interior accents.
