Infiniti revealed the first official picture of the upcoming 2014 Q50 Eau Rouge Concept. The Japanese prototype features an F1-inspired exterior and a futuristic interior. According to Infiniti, the Q50 Eau Rouge expresses “muscularity, refinement and understated performance intent.”
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept comes with a lot of carbon fiber elements: front splitter, side skirts, mirror caps, roof and rear air diffuser. The Japanese concept also features unique 21 inch lightweight alloy wheels, a ventilated hood and a sport exhaust system.
“From our shared passion for performance with Infiniti Red Bull Racing grew a collective desire to produce a vision of what a high-performance Infiniti Q50 could look like. The design has a number of distinctive Formula One inspired touches. In particular, the sculpted front wing assembly and the rear aerodynamic packaging take their cues from the RB9 race car”, said Alfonso Albaisa, Executive Design Director.
More information about the 2014 Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept will be revealed during a press conference at the North American International Auto Show on 14 January.
