Lexus will display at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show the LF-NX Turbo Concept. The Japanese prototype represents a compact crossover which was first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year.

Between the two concepts there is only one difference: the new 2.0 liter turbo engine which was developed for more power and less fuel consumption. Aside from receiving a new engine, the LF-NX Turbo Concept is featuring a lower center of gravity and a new front spoiler which gives the turbo version a sportier look.

In Frankfurt, the Japanese officials told that the LF-NX Concept was described as “an urban-centric concept that provides a glimpse of the future evolution of the Lexus L-Finesse design language”.

“The 2013 Lexus LF-NX Turbo Concept has a lean profile, with its compact, sharp body and bold tires conveying SUV-unique power and an exciting drive. Inside, the new remote touch interface with touchpad functionality provides an advanced, user-friendly experience unique to Lexus”, said Japanese officials in the press release.
