2013 Honda S660 Concept – First official pictures

Honda unveiled the first official images of the upcoming 2013 S660 Concept. The new Japanese prototype will be officially unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.

According to Honda press release, the S660 Concept is described as an “open top sports type mini vehicle” which looks like the EV-STER prototype unveiled in 2011.

Under the hood of the 2013 Honda S660 Concept is a 660 cc three cylinder turbocharged unit which has a 64 horsepower output. The engine resources are put to the road via a seven speed CVT gear box. According to rumors, the upcoming Japanese concept will weight only 900 kilograms.

If everything goes as planned, the concept will emerge into a production version sometime in 2015. It will feature a fully retractable roof and, unfortunately it will be sold only in Japan.

Other rumors are indicating that under the hood of the production version will be a 1.0 liter turbo unit rated at 100 horsepower.
