The 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport facelift has been officially unveiled during the 2016 North American International Auto Show.

On the exterior, the new 2017 Ford Fusion facelift is featuring a lot of cosmetic tweaks to boost the visual appeal. We are talking about new headlights, new fog lights, 19 inch wheels, a blacked-out grille, a quad exhaust arrangement and new taillights.

More than that, the 2017 Ford Fusion facelift lineup now comes with the more luxurious Platinum trim. This version comes with a bespoke front grille finished in Magnetic paint, 19-inch polished wheels, and antiqued Cocoa & Venetian leathers. According to the car manufacturer officials, this version will be sold with the EcoBoost 2.0-liter engine linked to an AWD arrangement.

One of the most important modification is the biturbo 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine. As a result, 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sports facelift is able to deliver 325 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. All this amount of power is sent to the ground via a modified six-speed automatic transmission and thanks to an all-wheel drive system with continuously controlled damping suspension.

If you are an eco-friendly driver you should know that the 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi have received software revisions to enable a smoother and more engaging drive.

The 2017 Ford Fusion facelift will feature the new SYNC 3 infotainment system, a modified cruise control, pedestrian protection and a revised support for perpendicular maneuvers.

Pricing kicks off at $22,995 for the base Fusion, followed by the Sport trim at $34,350, and the Platinum model from $37,495.
