Ford has officially unveiled at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew. Essentially, the new model is just a crew cab version of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, the car that was show last year in Detroit.

On the exterior, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew has a lot of aggressive and off-road-ish accessories. The front bumper is more rugged, the car has underbody protections and 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires.

2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew – Engine

Under the hood of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew is the same V6 EcoBoost 3.5 liter engine that can deliver 411 horsepower and 34 pound-feet of torque. The unit is linked to an all-new ten-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system with a torque-on-demand transfer case. Sounds pretty good.

More than that, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew has a new Terrain Management System with six different modes: Normal mode for everyday driving, Street mode for higher-performance on-road driving, Weather mode for rain, snow or ice, Mud and sand mode for muddy and sandy trails and terrain, Baja mode for high-speed desert running and, Rock mode for low-speed rock crawling.

Last but not least is a new off-road focused suspension with FOX Racing Shox. The new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew will go on sale this fall and the pricing will be announced closer to launch.
