2015 MINI Cooper SD revealed

MINI has unveiled the all-new Cooper SD and Cooper One First. According to MINI, the new Cooper SD is the most power diesel version of the Mini and features a 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo engine rated at 170 horsepower and 360 Nm peak of torque.

The engine resources are sent to the wheels via a manual gearbox or via a six-speed Steptronic transmission. As a result, the 2015 MINI Cooper SD can sprint from zero to 62 mph in 7.3 seconds (7.2 seconds with the Steptronic gearbox).

Furthermore, the British model can return 57.3-58.8 mpg US (4.0 – 4.1 liters per 100 kilometer) with CO2 emissions of 104 – 110 grams per kilometer.

The 2015 MINI Cooper One First

As we already announced you, MINI has also revealed the Cooper One First. It has a 1.2 liter TwinPower Turbo three-cylinder diesel motor that can deliver 75 horsepower and 150 Nm peak of torque. The sprint from zero to 62 mph is done in 12.8 seconds, while the fuel consumption is clocked at 45.2-47 mpg with CO2 emissions of 117 to 122 grams per kilometer.
