Jeep has unveiled the all-new 2015 Renegade model at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The new Renegade draws its styling inspiration from the bigger Wrangler, but the U.S. officials have said it also represents a throwback to the original military model.
The 2015 Jeep Renegade has a boxy shape, seven-slot vertical front grille and a high ground clearance. It has a somewhat low drag coefficient of 0.36 and will be offered in a trail-rated variant called Trailhawk 4×4 with 17-inch all-terrain tires and a Selec-Terrain system.
The 2015 Jeep Renegade uses the same platform as the Fiat 500L with a steel monocoque structure but it features a newly developed independent suspension with McPherson struts at the front and Chapman struts in the back.
