2014 Mopar Muscle monster truck unveiled

Mopar unveiled the all-new 2014 Muscle monster truck. The car is based on the current Ram Heavy Duty track. Ram has joined forces with Hall Brothers Racing to develop the first OEM monster truck.

The all-new 2014 Mopar Muscle monster truck will compete in the Monster Jam series. It weights 4,535 kilograms and under the hood is a 9.3 liter supercharged unit of the Gen II 426 HEMI engine which can deliver 2,000 horsepower.

“We’re excited to have Mopar make its first foray into the world of monster trucks by joining the Ram brand in this popular and competitive exhibition series with a such a passionate and loyal following,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO – Mopar, Chrysler Group’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “So much of what Mopar does is applicable to the general consumer, but occasionally we like to show just how capable our brand is of really extreme performance. This is a great and fun opportunity for us to do that with Mopar Muscle and the Hall Brothers.”

Furthermore, the 2014 Mopar Muscle monster truck has a high of ten feet and will be unveiled this Saturday at the Monster Jam in Detroit at Ford Field.
